Chaos Dwarf Infernal Guard Regiment

I've completed this regiment at last! Just 7.5 years of painting and it is done) The last ones is far different from the firet one but it diesn't matter. Just one mini now to go)

Chaos Dwarf Magma Cannon

Finally, it's  fully painted! This miniature was started 5 years ago, in May 2012. And it was done with very looooooooong breaks all this time. Therefore, in places this work looks like the monster of Dr. Frankenstein - assembled from different parts, painted with different levels of painting skills. After this amount of time, it's interesting to see the changes in the basic paint recipes that I used. Almost everywhere I switched from paint GW to Vallejo, except gray skn, where Vallejo was originally.
However, nothing stands still and now I would like to radically change the schemes of the bronze and gold NMM to reach a new level of skills and try something different.

It remains to do only one small thing - to rearrange the cannon to the gaming base and add it to my Chaos Dwarfs army

Наконец-то заончена! Эта миниатюры была начата ещё 5 лет назад, в мае 2012 года. И делалась с ооооооочень большими перерывами всё это время. Поэтому местами эта работа выглядит как чудовище Доктора Франкенштейна - собранная из разных частей, покрашенных с разным уровнем навыков покраски. По прошествии такого количества времени довольно интересно постмотреть на изменение основных покрасочных рецептов, которыми я пользовался. Практически везде я перешел с красок ГВ на Вальехо, кроме серой кожи, где Вальехо был изначально.

Однако ничто не стоит на месте и теперь я хотел бы радикально изменить рецепты брозового и золотого НММ, чтобы выйти на новый уровень навыков и потробовать что-то иное. 

Осталось сделать только одно маленькое дело - переставить пушку на игровую подставку и добавить её в мою армию гномов хаоса.

Malifaux Monday #60: Johanna v2

A year ago I painted Johanna commission (an alternative model of Johan from Malifaux). Usually, I more than easily part with the miniatures I painted, and only in very rare cases my inner collector does not want to give the work to a customer. Johanna was just such a case. So I had no choice but to paint myself a copy of this miniature. And even more  the commissioner agreed give her to me for participating the Mint Dragon.
As it turned out, it is very difficult to make an exact copy of the finished work, even if you are the author of the original, but in my opinion it turned out very much even similar.

So I am very glad to represent to you Johanna junior, the twin sister)

P.S. It would be strange to make two Johannas, but not paint Johan himself, so he will soon appear too.

Год назад я покрасил на заказ Йоханну ( альтернативную модель Йохана из Малифо). Обычно, я более чем легко расстаюсь с покрашенными мною миниатюрами, и только в очень редких случаях мой внутренний коллекционер не желает отдавать работу заказчику. Йоханна была как раз таким случаем. Так что мне ничего не оставалось, как покрасить себе копию этой миниатюры, благо заказчик согласился расстаться с ней на время Мятного Дракона.   
Как оказалось, очень сложно сделать точную копию с готовой работы, даже если ты автор оригинала, но по-моему получилось очень даже похоже. 

Представляю вам Йоханну младшую, практически точно такую же)

P.S. Было бы странно сделать двух Йоханн, но не покрасить ни одного Йохана, так что он тоже скоро появится.

Iron Warriors tactical squad

Blast from the past: Raging Heroes test minis

As you know, I worked for a year and a half as a box art painter for the Raging Heroes TGG project. As a result, I painted 98 miniatures, most of which have already been published on the Raging Heroes website (and on the miniature boxes you bought).It was a wonderful time and a very interesting project, and I'm very glad that I became a part of it all.
Separately, I want to thank Marina (Ringil), without her help it would be impossible.

In addition to those miniatures that have become box-arts I also painted several test miniatures, photos of which no one saw. And now I want to show you two of these miniatures, which remained with me after the end of the project.
I'm going to sell these miniatures to rise funds for my own miniature projects.

Malifaux Monday# 35: University of Transmortis

University of Transmortis is very strange but interesting part of Malifaux 1.5 succession. The "Iron Zombies" created by Albus von Schtook is different from another Ressurectionist creations even necropunks and abominations of Leveticus. Anyway is very fun and interesting to paint these undead guys.

One more mini from 2016. Firstly Ama No Zako from Malifaux has been painted for Wyrd forum painting contest (Rotten Harvest'16). After that I partially repainted some areas and added more freehands to show this work an Ruby Sphere painting contest in Moscow. Malifaux Monday #29: ... and Justice for all part 1

This commission paintwork I did last week. The idea was that to make a vignette with Lady Justice for the glass cabinet. I tried to connect the Lady J's ginger hair with the flames on the coffin, but also save dark atmosphere of Malifaux. Also the commissioner ask to add a purple  to the Lady's clothes.

O-YOROI KIDOBUTAI (TAG)

It was very quick painting - about 1 week.
I painted this TAG for WarCrow contest. And it took 1st place. It was at august.
In october I went to Hussar contest and it took 1st place again there.
I really proud.

I will sale this miniature, but I think it is impossible to send it with post. So I can to take it with me to Duke of Bavaria (Germany) and Monte San Savino (Italy) and give it from hands to hands. Or ask one of my friends to transfer it with him to another contest in Europe (and may be USA).

Sacrifice

It s my third bust and I m still in love with it!
At first I really like Sacrifice bust sculpted by Pedro Fernández Ramosand. It s amazing!
But I wanted to do it more special. So I m thankful to Ravenswood for idea with nimbus and belly.
I took it with some another works at Hussar 2016 and it was very funny to finish it (with headache) in hotel )))

7th and 8th tactical legionaries from XCV grand batallion of Iron Warriors legion, I am not sure  that I can finish full 10 man tactical squad before end of year but I am pretty close. And I want to do reinforced infantry section for sale next year.
