Traitor Librarian project, part 1

I started a new project log, dedicated to painting a miniature "Traitor Librarian in Cataphractii Terminator Armor" from ForgeWorld stitched by magnificent Tom Hugues. This model also needed to be painted in the colors of the Legion of Iron Warriors.

In my opinion, stylistically this Librarian was much more approached by Word Bearer,  Night Lords or the Sons of Horus legions, but not the Iron Warriors. So I'll have to try to adapt it a little.

 To begin with, I replaced force axe for the  force staff to add a little balance between the sides of the miniature. I chose this version of the staff because I needed something that would not uniquely associate with either the Imperium or Chaos, since our Librarian does only the first steps in the path of betrayal. In addition, I added the symbol of the legoin to one of the shoulder pads.

The next stage was the construction of the base . I wanted to bring the sense of desolation from the one side, and a bit of occultism from another.

The base is made of pine bark and a milliput (an example of technology here ), and is plentifully covered with Martian Ironearth textured paste from GW. I tried to achieve the sense of mysticism with the help of a certain amount of skull and candles in them.

On this the first part is finished, the next will be painting the base.\

Я начинаю новый дневник проекта, посвещённый покраске миниатюры Traitor Librarian in Cataphractii Terminator Armor от ForgeWorld слепленная замечательным Tom Hugues . Эту модель также необходимло покрасить в цвета легиона Железных Воинов. 
На мой взгляд, стилистически этот библиарий куда больше подошел ьы легионам Несущий Слово, Повелителей Ночи или Сынов Хоруса, но никак не Железным Воинам. Так что мне придется постараться его немного адаптировать.
Для начала я заменил ему псохосиловой топор на посох, чтобы добавить немного баланса между сторонами миниатюры. Я выбрал именно этот вариант посоха потому что мне нужно было что-то, что не будет однозначко асоциироваться ни с Империумом, ни с Хаосом, так как наш библиарий делает только первые шаги на пути предательства.  Кроме того, я добавил символ легоина на один из наплечников.
Следующим этапом было построение подставки. Мне хотелось с помошью базы привнести ощущение с одной стороны опустошенности, а с дрогой - некий налёт оккультности. 
Подставка сделана из сосновой коры и миллипута (пример технологии здесь ), и обильно намазана текстурной пастой Martian Ironearth от ГВ. Ощущения мистицизма я попытался достичь с помощью некоторого количества черепой и свечей в них.
На этом первая часть окончена, следуюшим этапом будет покраска базы.
