Alarielle the Everqueen

It was very hard and slow painting work because miniature is very detailed and difficult to paint with/without assembly. And her size is about 54mm not 28mm.  All works - small converting and painting - took about 50 hours.
My customer asked to remove branches from legs and right arm. Also he wanted me to paint her without bug, on simple base with some mushrooms. And do her blonde hair and with pale skin.
I like her shapes (especcialy legs) and it very interesting idea about wings with leaves instead of feathers.
I took this miniature to the Hussar contest. But she took only Honorable mention.

  2. It is absolutely beautiful. The most beautiful painting I have seen in a very long time.
The choice of colors is so subtle. Both soft and powerful. A great harmony emerges from this masterpiece. And this is the first time I find a miniature REALLY carnal and sensual.
    You are a great artist.

  3. Wow, may I ask how you made her skintone so "alive"? Looks way more beautiful than the "pale/ghost"like skin. Cheers!
